A mixed bag of news: We have had some great achievements and a few mishaps.
Sadly we had some bad weather and had to cancel one market after struggling through another in cold wind. However the last market at Longbeach Mall was excellent and we had some star performers:
Robert’s Plants was the highest earner. Robert (10) from Sunnydale made a net profit of over R1000!
Robert’s water wise succulents are a big hit as they are not only a great buy, but he has a wonderful variety of interesting and attractive species. He is also very knowledgeable and gives great planting advice.
Young Entrepreneur of the Day was Abigail Lewendal (13) from Ocean View. Abigail runs Oh Fudge! and sells a delicious line up of fudge and decorated biscuits. She also takes orders for parties and functions.
As usual all the traders were fantastic with many selling out.
Apologies for the lack of reporting and new dates, I have had a robbery and lost my computers and so on, so slowly catching up again.
We will be at the 4th Annual Kommetjie Boardswap & Surf Festival on 29 October and then in November we have Saturday markets at Longbeach Mall, Noordhoek Farm Village and Imhoff Farm which will open for booking soon.
Bookings are open for Cape Point Vineyards on Thursday afternoons from 3 Nov here:
Thanks for your ongoing support!
See you at the market,
