On Sat 3 Feb 2018 I will be available to cover any modules you have missed and also for those who want some personalized consultations. Then in the April Holidays we will have a proper group workshop and awards day on Thursday 5 April 2018. I have the use of the school I teach at in Fish Hoek for the venue but if anyone has a better one please let me know, it must be free.
These workshops are free to traders and will include an activity and a short social after.
1) Costing & Pricing
2) Marketing & Sales – Incl need identification, market research, 4P’s
3) Operational management – incl production, product optimisation, etc
4) Basic financial management – incl record keeping, capital investment, returns & profitability, depreciation
5) Online marketing & sales – get out of the sun, wind and rain! 6) Strategic planning for the longer term.
All suitable for children from about 6 or 7 up to adults. Younger kids are welcome too although they won’t get quite as much out. Workshops are structured around a fun activity to keep it interesting and largely related to actual traders to keep it practical and real.

I’d dearly love to find some sponsorship so I can take a bit of time to refine, publish and write more. These cost me about R50 per child or R1000 per event. Any contributions are most welcome.
Venue: Peak Academy, 1st Floor of the Triangle Square Building, 49 First Avenue, Fish Hoek. Gmap I will have a banner outside. Entrance is through the white gate next to Horton’s Bake shop and up the stairs. There is heaps of parking in the lot across the road. Many thanks to Peak Academy for hosting us!
I will schedule the times for 3 Feb once I have the bookings. We will start at 10am though on both days. 5 April it will be 10:30-1. If you are working and need the kids to be dropped earlier let me know and we can make a plan or organise lifts.
Please bring a packed lunch and some snacks and drinks to share.
Everyone is welcome at these events and as always all suggestions and assistance gratefully accepted. There is no charge for kids who are trading or planning to trade.
Any assistance with the event itself, refreshments, transport, sponsorship of prizes and certificates would be most gratefully accepted as this is a self funding NPO.
